GLENLYON: ANTIQUA WITH WHAT APPEARS TO BE MANY UPGRADES AND MODIFICATIONS-A SERIOUS VESSEL VISUALLY!

BOWSPRIT ON GLENLYON APPEARS TO BE A FACTORY
INSTALLATION, SIMILAR TO THE IRWIN ALUMINUM DESIGNS USED AT THE TIME. A HAIR SHORTER BUT QUITE SIMILAR TO WHAT I ENDED UP DESIGNING FOR MEMORY ROSE 20 YEARS LATER.

Ralph on Adrienne Marie used a foam to block leaks from the inside of where the hull meets the deck. Do you know what he used? And/or do you know how to contact him?

Hello Gary, Adrienne Marie was sitting at Tortugal Marina on the Rio Dulce River here in Guatemala, but I have not run into Ralph. Google Tortugal Marina and maybe you can get contact information from them.
You 'can' trap the water once it is inside, but if it is near any stainless steel, the water will loose it's oxygen and speed up Crevice corrosion. Could work with just expandable foam cans available at Home Depot.
